  1. Additional BackUp options

It would be great to be able to either define a location where the Chordle data is saved, or give the ability to backup to a local drive, or other cloud service (eg Dropbox)

  2. Edit in Monospace Font

I'm really picky about making sure my chords appear above the correct syllable of a word. I have been editing my songs in a text editor in monospace font, then importing or copy/pasting into Chordle and using the Import From Text File option to re-space my chords.

It would be nice to be able to just do this all in the editor of Chordle.

  5. Draw on Chord Sheet

On tablet or touch enabled devices, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to draw notes or directions on top of the chord chart display. This is very handy for quickly and easily capturing flow notes during practice or noting guitar/amp/pedal settings that may need to change for a particular song.

  6. Allow more 'parts of song' heading options in Theme settings

Currently, the 'Theme' settings are restricted to 'Chordle Classic', 'Nighttime', and 'Custom Theme backgrounds.

The headings that are allowable are a bit limited - apparently only those listed (Bridge, Verse, Chorus, Pre-Chorus, Intro, Ending, and Instrumental) can be used or recognized by the program display.

There are many common terms for a song's parts. For example, in addition to 'Ending', Outtro and Tag are also commonly used. In addition to 'Instrumental', 'Solo' could also be allowed.

  7. Lyric projection mode

Need a way for one station to feed a video projector with lyrics for church music presentation or karaoke by selecting each verse, chorus, bridge, etc. by the computer operator. Bonus points if you can choose the picture back drop. Double bonus points if you can specify a video back drop for each song. WorshipInc has this. A short term compromise would be a PowerPoint file export with the lyrics of an entire set list broken out by each section (verse, chorus, etc.) per slide. Also for PowerPoint export would be nice to browse for a picture to set as…

  9. Display piano diagram for chords

Currently there is a guitar chord fingering for chords. It will be good to have piano diagram for piano beginners.

  10. Add chord finder/custom chord variation editing

I would like to be able to edit a custom variation for a chord where the chord is not automatically suggested by Chordle.

  11. Tag more than one song at the same time.

It would be great, if you could select several songs and tag them together. This would be usefull, when i import a lot of songs.

  12. Last suggestion (for now, anyway). Provide AirTurn mode for scroll start/stop and scroll speed increase

I haven't found any documentation on AirTurn integration. All I've been able to do is 'Page up' and 'Page down'. This works, but I sometimes lose my place. Much better, for me anyway, would be a scroll start/stop toggle on the right footswitch, and 50% scroll speed increase(if scrolling) on left switch, with return to original speed on next scroll stop.

  15. Ad Pictures (jpg) and Files (doc, pdf) to a Setlist as a song

Sometimes you don't have the time to make a new entry of a song (your guitar player comes right bevor the gig with a Songsheet, saying, we HAVE to play this song or otherwise the rapture will happen...). Would be great if one could capture a quick photo of the sheet and put it at the point where it will be needed in the setlist. This would be flexible and cool (and postpone the rapture!!!).

  17. Allow me to add handwritten annotations to a song

I have a surface pro, and I'd like to be able to add annotations to a song using my stylus. I'd also like to have the option of saving the annotations against the song so that they show up every time I play it, or just for the song in the set list it's currently in.

  18. Make capo setting go to the negative too

Sometimes I play with a downtuned guitar (all strings two half steps down) while my bandmates play with standard tuning. Would it be possible to make the "capo-setting" go to like minus 1 or 2 steps, and so on? That would be great!

  19. From my device, I'd like to control the current song displayed on other devices

The scenario is this: I'm a band leader and I have other band members that have Chordle. Whatever song I'm playing on my device, I'd like it to be reflected on everyone else's device.

  20. Make the interface easier to navigate

The interface is frustrating, needing too much mouse moving and clicking to do basic functions:

    Could you please add add:

Keyboard shortcuts esp for song edit / presentation mode

    Context/popup menus to song lists

    Thank you!
