Make the interface easier to navigate
The interface is frustrating, needing too much mouse moving and clicking to do basic functions:
Could you please add add:
Keyboard shortcuts esp for song edit / presentation mode
Context/popup menus to song lists
Thank you!

Need zoom in zoom out option when lyrics are ginally viewing.
Need zoom in zoom out option when lyrics are ginally viewing.
I.e, when lyrics are imported and setup, it will actually use in an event. When lyrics present, mostly it needs to be zoom in as small fonts cannot easily read in stage.11 votes -
Allow song and set-list specific notes
It would be very useful to me and my band to be able to add notes to songs, e.g. about arrangement. This could be done on the set-list level (maybe additionally on the song level, too?). Or to make this even more flexible: Some sort of key-value annotations? I can think about some usecases like tempo, songbook numbers, etc.
Those notes can be displayed in smaller / different font along the song text.

Display options
It would be nice to be able to customise the display to reduce margins and spacing to cram more in on the page without reducing font size when necessary.

Presentation order control.
Add a field to control presentation order (like opensong). For example, sections are labelled with [V1] [V2] [C]. Each section only needs to be shown once in the song text area. A separate setting controls the display order and can be changed when displaying the song. A song with the above structures could be presented like this v1 V2 C C V2 C.

Opensong compatibility.
I use opensong primarily which has a very well defined format for chords etc. I would like to be able to export to chordle for use on a portable device. One great feature of opensong is to define the presentation order. Like many others, including ultimate guitar, it also uses a monospace font. I have written a powershell script that converts the format, but I still have to use the monospace tool in chordle for each song.

Additional BackUp options
It would be great to be able to either define a location where the Chordle data is saved, or give the ability to backup to a local drive, or other cloud service (eg Dropbox)

Customize Word Export Template (esp header & footers)
I prefer a smaller header, and like to put dates and page numbers on the footer. While this can be achieved once the Word document is created, it would be nice to set up a default template rather than having to do it for each individual export

Draw on Chord Sheet
On tablet or touch enabled devices, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to draw notes or directions on top of the chord chart display. This is very handy for quickly and easily capturing flow notes during practice or noting guitar/amp/pedal settings that may need to change for a particular song.

Allow me to define more titles for the song structure, e.g. in other languages
E.g. in english I would like to have "Interlude" and in german "Vers" "Strophe" "Refrain" "Zwischenteil" "Ende"
You could give opportunity to define more titles or implement more for all users4 votes -

Edit in Monospace Font
I'm really picky about making sure my chords appear above the correct syllable of a word. I have been editing my songs in a text editor in monospace font, then importing or copy/pasting into Chordle and using the Import From Text File option to re-space my chords.
It would be nice to be able to just do this all in the editor of Chordle.

Add Duration metadata and Set List Creations
Would be great to add a song's duration that can be used when creating set lists to estimate the timing of the set - if you're doing three 45 minute sets, would be great to be able to drag/drop songs to the set list and have a time total at the bottom.

Set List Sort Options
Being able to sort, order, and arrange set lists by alphabetical title, composer, artist, Tags, or other metadata would be a nice feature to add. Also, being able to save an otherwise non-ordered list so you could switch back to it after the list had been otherwise ordered (such as alphabetical) would be a definite plus. I have found that I sometimes arrange a set alphabetically when practicing or editing, but an option to re-order back to a saved order would be excellent!

Allow more 'parts of song' heading options in Theme settings
Currently, the 'Theme' settings are restricted to 'Chordle Classic', 'Nighttime', and 'Custom Theme backgrounds.
The headings that are allowable are a bit limited - apparently only those listed (Bridge, Verse, Chorus, Pre-Chorus, Intro, Ending, and Instrumental) can be used or recognized by the program display. There are many common terms for a song's parts. For example, in addition to 'Ending', Outtro and Tag are also commonly used. In addition to 'Instrumental', 'Solo' could also be allowed.

Adjustable Left (title) pane
When in edit mode, the right pane splits the edit and display window and is adjustable. However, the Left (song title) pane does not adjust which makes it difficult sometimes to view details in a title. The left pane should adjust as well.

Display piano diagram for chords
Currently there is a guitar chord fingering for chords. It will be good to have piano diagram for piano beginners.
