An error occurred while saving the comment AdminChordle (CEO / Founder, Chordle) commentedThe next version of Chordle will allow for storing and editing songs in the ChordPro format. This will allow you to position chords exactly where you want without losing the (possibly subjectively) nicer presentation of a song in a variable width font.
You can contrast the two formats here: https://chordle.com/help10/editing-a-song and see more about the supported chordpro tags here: https://chordle.com/help10/chordproformat
Does this help?

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminChordle (CEO / Founder, Chordle) commentedHi Yannik, if you have Chordle set up to show capoed chords (Setting/Song Settings/Song presentation), you should already see the capo position in the top right of the screen during playback - is this what you mean, or do you want to see the capo position even if you're playing the un-capoed version of the chords?

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminChordle (CEO / Founder, Chordle) commentedInteresting idea - we'll definitely have a think about how that might work. In the meantime, you could always transpose the song so it's in your down-tuned key, and capo up by one or two steps - your bandmates would just need to play the capoed chords, which would actually be in the natural key.
Hi Dennis,
If you go to the settings page for Chordle, there is an option to "Keep notes true to the song's key" - if you turn that on, does it make things work the way you're expecting?
Kind regards,
Mike
