It would be helpful if your program was able to read the full extent of chordpro files
I noticed all of the comment sections were missing. It would be nice if it could fully embrace all the functions that chordpro has to offer.
35 votesThe next version of Chordle will allow you to store and edit songs in the ChordPro format.

Markup Language
I would find it helpful to have an very simple formatting language to be able to format e.g. comments or instrument specific annotations even in the chord line or between sections.
20 votesHi,
The next version of Chordle will allow you to use the ChordPro format to save and edit songs.
Editing options: https://chordle.com/help10/editing-a-song
ChordPro format: https://chordle.com/help10/chordproformatThis means you can now insert comments into song lines.
If you still want to use the existing “chords above lines” format you can also add comment lines to a song by starting the line with a #.

Let us choose between autoscroll and all on one pag
With some texts being longer than others, I really would like to have the option to activate an autoscroll of which I can set the pace as well. So that it follows the flow of the song I'm playing without minimizing the font so much it becomes very hard to read for me.
19 votesYou can now turn on scrolling view and have auto scrolling scroll the page down for you. Thanks for voting on this suggestion!

Export chordle songs as .txt or .pdf
And please also make a way to export songs as .txt or .pdf so I can make backups in paper versions if my computer breaks down during a gig! Thank you!

Change font size or auto adjust font size to take up the full screen.
I find that Chordle often uses a very small font size for shorter lyrics. Please let chordle take up as much of the screen possible in font size.
this is helpfull for tablet users.

Transposed song Save button
There is a great need of a button "save" next to "transpose up" and "transpose down" to permanently change the transposition, without going to the editor and change note for note. For example, if you are playing a song in C and while transposing you see that G is better, actually you have to go to the editor and change chords one by one. this is wasteful.
16 votesThis has been added to the Windows 10 version of the application by allowing you to save a “preferred key” for a song. Whilst this won’t actually change the text you see in the song editor, songs will now always be presented in the key you want. Thanks for the suggestion!

Enable export of songs as ChordPro files
Both as file output and export. If you play with users on those products with that forbidden fruit on it, you could send the the chords from Chordle.

I like having all my songs in one place...
But it would be nice if I could adjust the font ..some of the longer songs end up being in very small print.
15 votesThanks for the suggestion – this feature was made available i a recent version of Chordle.

Display chord fingering for chords
I sometimes need reminding how to finger a certain chord on my guitar - it would be nice if Chordle would show me what a chord looks like when I hover over/touch a chord that is being displayed.

One more idea: View and Search song library by title (as today) OR by artist!
In a gig setting, people often request an artist rather than a song. "Hey man, play some Van Morrison!" Would be great if My list of Van Morrison songs were a click and scroll away...
I'm hack the search feature today by including the artist with the title, but I'd rather not have to do that.
12 votesThe latest version of Chordle allows you to search by artist, and also group your search results by artist.

Provide an online song library that people can search on
This could be a user-contribution based library. What would other people like to see?

add an option for auto exchange H and B chords
Lot of song (especially in Europe) are writtne with an H chords instead of B, but program does not reffer letter H as an actual chord and consequently it does not transpose them.
7 votesYou’re now able to store the chord format that a song is written in, and Chordle is also able to automatically translate between different formats (e.g. B → H). You can choose your preferred format in the setting pane.

One of the great features is the ability to change keys. Make it possible to capture the new key in Chordle and export to Word,
make it possible to capture a song in a changed key and to export the song in the changed key to Word.
7 votesWith the Windows 10 version of the app you can now change your preferred key for a song – exporting a song to Word will by default use this key. Thanks for voting on this suggestion!

Near perfect App! Bravo! One suggestion: Save scroll speed setting, for each song.
Save the last used scroll setting for each song, and restore it to that setting the next time a song is opened. For me this would entirely eliminate the need to use my AirTurn.
6 votesThis has been completed. Chordle should update automatically over the next few days, after which you’ll be able to save the current scroll speed for a song as you’re playing it. If you’re in full screen mode the save button will be tucked away in the popup menu shown by the button in the bottom right of the screen.
